THE MINISTRY OF YOUTH AND SPORTS AFFAIRS WELCOMES WINNERS OF THE GRAND CHAMPION POCARI SWEAT FUTSAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Participating teams of the Pocari Sweat Futsal Championship’s (PSFC) Grand Champion rounds from outside of the Jabodetabek area and Bandung arrived at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta on Wednesday morning (16/11/2016).

After arriving in the city, the team headed directly to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs headquarters based in Senayan, Central Jakarta. The Deputy of Civilising Sports at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Mr Raden Isnanta welcomed all 19 teams upon arrival.

In his speech, Mr Raden Isnanta thanked the committee members of Pocari Sweat for having consistently hosted the largest futsal competition for high school students which has now entered its seventh year.

“I would like to express my gratitude to Pocari Sweat’s committee members who have given students the opportunity to realise their utmost potential in futsal. I believe that Futsal Indonesia has immense potential going forward,” stated Mr Raden Isnanta in front of the Grand Champion PSFC 2016 participants.

The event also followed with a Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs trophy handover ceremony by Mr Raden Isnanta to the President Director of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka which is also Pocari Sweat’s license holder, Mr Yoshihiro Bando.

After the housewarming event, participants made their way to Bandung for a technical meeting.
